I have always enjoyed talking with people. With 15 years in hospitality meeting guests from all over the world, a decade in academia carrying out interviews for research, and travel being my happy place, the common thread has always been a profound joy derived from meaningful conversation.

Every conversation taught me something. I recognized that every person has a unique story and there is no universal normal. I did not necessarily agree with everything everybody said, but I learned that that is okay too.

This is all part of what inspired this podcast. I thought if I could share other's stories listeners might find a bit more joy and tolerance. Maybe they would even be inspired to have a conversation with someone new.
